And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
