We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
