Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 What though they would say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
