The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He has created man: 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. 15 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
