1/2 Hizb 35

O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord 57 and who believe in their Sustainer's messages, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 We do not impose on any soul what is beyond its capacity. We have the Book which speaks the truth and no injustice will be done to it. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 behaving arrogantly, and making fun, and talking nonsense (about the Book in your nightly chats)." 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
