The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
