Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Alif Lam Mim 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 and yet, they [who are bent on denying the truth] assert, "[Muhammad] has invented it!" Nay, but it is the truth from thy Sustainer, enabling thee to warn [this] people to whom no warner has come before thee, so that they might follow the right path. 3 IT IS GOD who has created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness. You have none to protect you from God, and none to intercede for you [on Judgment Day]: will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 4 He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. 5 This is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty the Merciful, 6 Who made good everything that He has created, and He began the creation of man from dust. 7 then He fashioned his progeny of an extraction of mean water, 8 Then He moulded him; He breathed His Spirit into him; He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts. How seldom you are grateful! 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord." 11
