We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
