Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
