۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
