But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And all that ye see not 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
