Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
