We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
