The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
