The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
