۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance. 21 On the day when they behold the angels, on that day there will be no good tidings for the guilty; and they will cry: A forbidding ban! 22 And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did (in this life), and We shall make such deeds as floating dust scattered about. 23 The inmates of Paradise will have a better abode that day, and a better resting place. 24 And on the Day on which the skies, together with the clouds, shall burst asunder, and the angels are made to descend in a mighty descent 25 The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers. 26 And the day when the unjust will gnaw his hands, saying, “Alas, if only I had chosen a way along with the (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)!” 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had reached me, satan is ever the foresaker of humans' 29 And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule." 30 And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Quran revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). 32 And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation. 33 Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell – theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. 34
