He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned (his) back, 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 you attend to him, 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 you pay no heed to him. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and Virtuous. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 From what did He create him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Nay, but [man] has never yet fulfilled what He has enjoined upon him! 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and let the earth to break open 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 and olives and palms, 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 and fruits and herbage, 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother, 34 mother, father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
