And We certainly gave Moses the Book before, and there arose disagreements about it (even as there are disagreements now about the Book revealed to you). Had it not been for a decree that had already gone forth from your Lord, the matter would have long been decided between them. Indeed they are in a disquieting doubt about it. 110 And lo! unto each thy Lord will verily repay his works in full. Lo! He is Informed of what they do. 111 Continue then in the right way as you are commanded, as also he who has turned (to Allah) with you, and be not inordinate (O men!), surely He sees what you do. 112 And do not incline towards, nor rely upon, those who are bent on evildoing lest the fire [of the hereafter] touch you: for [then] you would have none to protect you from God, nor would you ever be succoured [by Him]. 113 And perform the prayer at the two ends of the day and nigh of the night; surely the good deeds will drive away the evil deeds. That is a remembrance unto the mindful. 114 Be steadfast, for verily God does not let the reward of those who are upright and do good to go waste. 115 Why, then, were there not among the generations before you upright men who would speak out against the [spread of] corruption on earth -- except for the few whom We saved? But the wrongdoers pursued their worldly pleasures and thus became guilty. 116 Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong-doing, if its members were likely to mend. 117 If your Lord had wished, He would have made mankind into one community. As it is, they will not cease to dispute, -- 118 Save these on whom thy Lord hath mercy; and for that he hath created them. And fulfilled will be the word of thy Lord: surely I will fill Hell with the jinn and mankind together. 119 And all that We relate unto thee of the story of the messengers is in order that thereby We may make firm thy heart. And herein hath come unto thee the Truth and an exhortation and a reminder for believers. 120 Say to those who disbelieve: 'Do according to your station; we are doing according to our station' 121 And watch and wait; we are also watching and waiting.' 122 And Allah's is the unseen in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is returned the whole of the affair; therefore serve Him and rely on Him, and your Lord is not heedless of what you do. 123
