Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
