Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
