The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
There was certainly a time when there was no mention of the human being. 1 Verily We! We created man from a sperm of mixtures, that We might prove him, wherefore We made him hearing, seeing. 2 Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. 3 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze. 4 Lo! the righteous shall drink of a cup whereof the mixture is of Kafur, 5 A fountain from which the servants of Allah shall drink; they make it to flow a (goodly) flowing forth. 6 They fulfill their vow and dread a Day the evil whereof shall be widespreading. 7 And they give food out of love for Him to the poor and the orphan and the captive: 8 They say to them, “We give you food, only for the sake of Allah we do not seek any reward or thanks from you.” 9 behold, we stand in awe of our Sustainer's judgment on a distressful, fateful Day!" 10 Therefore, God will ward off from them the woes of that Day, and make them find brightness and joy, 11 And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk. 12 In that [garden] they will on couches recline, and will know therein neither [burning] sun nor cold severe, 13 The shadows will bend over them, and low will hang the clusters of grapes. 14 Passed round will be silver flagons and goblets made of glass, 15 goblets bright as crystal but made of silver, filled to exact measure. 16 And they shall be made to drink therein a cup the admixture of which shall be ginger, 17 A fountain there, called Salsabil. 18 ۞ They will be attended by youths who will not age -- when you see them you will think them to be like sprinkled pearls -- 19 And when you look towards it, you will see serenity and a great kingdom. 20 They will have fine green silk and brocade, and they will be decked with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will provide them with a drink of pure wine. 21 It will be said to them, “This is your reward indeed your efforts have been appreciated.” 22

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
