Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
