The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
