Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah; unto Him belongeth Sovereignty and unto Him belongeth praise, and He is Able to do all things. 1 He it is Who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do. 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose and has formed you in the best shape. To Him all things return. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you hide and what you manifest; and Allah is Cognizant of what is in the hearts. 4 Have you not heard the news of those before you who disbelieved? They tasted the mischief of their action, and for them is a painful punishment. 5 That was because their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they replied, "Shall mortals be our guides?" And so they rejected the truth and turned away. God has no need of such people; God is self-sufficient and worthy of all praise. 6 They who are bent on denying the truth claim that they will never be raised from the dead! Say: "Yea, by my Sustainer! Most surely will you be raised from the dead, and then, most surely, will you be made to understand what you did [in life]! For, easy is this for God!" 7 Therefore believe in God and His Messenger, and in the Light which We have sent down. And God is aware of the things you do. 8 The Day on which He will gather you for the Day of Gathering; that is the Day of Loss and Gain. He who believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will acquit him of his evil deeds and admit him to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where he shall live for ever. That is the mighty triumph. 9 Those who did not believe and denied Our revelations will be inmates of Hell, where they will abide for ever, and how evil a journey's end! 10
