Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
