The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In outstretched columns. 9
