۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
