And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
