Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
