Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
