O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 "Do not supplicate for help today; you will not be rescued by Us; 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or do they say, "In him is madness?" Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
