Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)! 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. 29 We gave David Solomon. He was an excellent servant who always turned to God. 30 When fast footed steeds were presented to him at evening. 31 he said: “Lo! I have come to love this wealth on account of the remembrance of my Lord.” And when the horses disappeared, 32 Return them to me!' And he began to stroke their shanks and necks. 33 We surely tried Solomon, and placed another body on his throne. So he turned to God 34 saying, "Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one after me can have the like. You are All-munificent". 35 We subjected the wind to him, so that it blew gently at his bidding, wherever he directed it, 36 And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinns (including) every kind of builder and diver, 37 And also others bound in fetters. 38 This is Our free gift, therefore give freely or withhold, without reckoning. 39 And verily, nearness to Us awaits him [in the life to come,] and the most beauteous of all goals! 40
