Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
