And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 "And as for those who are bent on denying the truth, I shall cause them to suffer a suffering severe in this world and in the life to come, and they shall have none to succour them; 56 But those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will reward them in full. Allah does not love the unjust.' 57 "This is what we rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom." 58 Surely the likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was. 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 This is the true story. There is no god but God, and assuredly God is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 62 And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief. 63
