Corruption has appeared on land and sea with what the hands of the people earned. Therefore, they taste some of what they did in order that they return. 41 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of those who were before you. Most of them were idolaters' 42 Therefore set your attention for worshipping, before the day from Allah which cannot be averted – on that day people will be split, separated. 43 Whosoever disbelieveth, on him is his infidelity, and those who work righteously are preparing for themselves. 44 In order to reward those who believed and did good deeds, by His munificence; indeed He does not like the disbelievers. 45 Some evidence of His existence is His sending the glad-news-bearing winds so that He would let you to receive His mercy, cause the ships to sail by His command, and let you seek His favor so that perhaps you would give Him thanks. 46 Verily We sent many apostles before you to their people, who brought clear signs with them. Then We retributed those who were sinful. It is a duty incumbent on Us to help the believers. 47 Allah is He Who sendeth the winds so that they raise a cloud and then spreadeth it along the heaven as He will and breaketh it into fragments, and thou beholdest the rain come forth from the interstices thereof. Then when He maketh it fall upon such of His bondmen as He will, lo! they rejoice. 48 And verily before that (rain), just before it was sent down upon them, they were in despair! 49 See, then, the tokens of Allah's Mercy: how He revives the earth after it is dead. Verily He is the One Who will revive the dead. He has power over everything. 50 And if We send a wind and they see their fields yellow because of it, then indeed they would become ungrateful after it. 51 You cannot make the dead listen, nor the deaf hear. Thus, they, (the disbelievers), turn away on their heels. 52 You cannot guide the straying blind. You can make no one listen except those who believe in Our revelations and are Muslims. 53
