The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
