The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 and vie with the others (in carrying out their Lord's behests); 4 And then they manage the affair, 5 On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]? 10 "Even after we are crumbled bones?" 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 Indeed, it will be but one shout, 13 And lo! they will be awakened. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
