The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sun and its morning brightness, 1 by the moon when it follows the sun, 2 And by the day as it shows up (the sun's) brightness; 3 The night when it covers him over, 4 Consider the sky and its wondrous make, 5 by the earth and that (Power) which spread it out 6 By the soul, and That which shaped it 7 Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it; 8 He who purifies it will indeed be successful, 9 and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). 10 Thamud (people) denied (their Prophet) through their transgression (by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism, and by following polytheism, and by committing every kind of sin). 11 when the most wicked of them broke forth, 12 And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink." 13 Then they belied him and they hamstrung her; wherefore their Lord overwhelmed them for their crime, and made it equal. 14 He has no fear of its sequel. 15
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
