Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7
