SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
