Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
Whoso blinds himself to the Remembrance of the All-merciful, to him We assign a Satan for comrade; 36 and they bar them from the way, and they think they are guided, 37 But when he comes to Us, he will say (to his satan): “Would that there had been between me and you the distance as between the East and the West. How evil a companion you were!” 38 It will be said [to such a person], "You have done wrong. Having partners in punishment will be of no avail to you today." 39 CANST THOU, perchance, [O Muhammad,] make the deaf hear, or show the right way to the blind or to such as are obviously lost in error? 40 We shall revenge them either after your death 41 Or show you what We have promised them – We therefore have complete control over them. 42 Therefore, hold fast to that which is revealed to you, indeed, you are on the Straight Path. 43 And it is undoubtedly an honour for you and your people; and you will soon be questioned. 44 And ask thou Our apostles whom We sent before thee: appointed We gods, beside the Compassionate, to be worshipped? 45
