The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
