The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
