The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
