Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23
