Therefore remind! by thy Lord's blessing thou art not a soothsayer neither possessed. 29 Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? 30 Proclaim, “Go on waiting – I too am waiting along with you.” 31 Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord? Have they any authority over God? 37 Or have they a ladder by which they could [ascend to ultimate truths and] listen [to what is beyond the reach of human perception]? Let, then, any of them who have listened [to it] produce a manifest proof [of his knowledge]! 38 Or has He (Allah) only daughters and you have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 The Day when their guile shall not relieve them a thing, and they shall not be helped. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 and exalt Him in the night and at the declining of the stars. 49
