And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
