The dwellers of the Thicket belied their Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful. 191
