Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
