Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
